My understanding is that the purchase will be for the area within the boundary of BMD, therefore inclusive of the water area. There is nothing other than UNESCO that can really have much say on what happens with the dock structure, and even they can only advise, but that wont be an issue pretty shortly anyway. In short, the dock will be filled in. BMD certainly, but I have no idea about the other docks, or about potential encroachment on these other docks.

How deep would the foundations have to be for a stadium? Not much of a builder never mind d.i.y.

People are forgetting how close the sewage plant is i would suggest the stink would put you off your pies.........been there recently and boy it whiffs.

Quite a few docks have been fill in down the years but I bet it is the one thing the bitter kopites will pick up on and cry about, they can knock old ladies houses down but we cant fill in a dock that no one really cares about.
