New Everton Stadium

I'm sure it's all just a big misunderstanding...and no further action will be taken.

Im sure it is too....

Look under your car each morning...

I think you've concluded similarly to me. The public health 'caveat' is more of an aesthetic consideration whereby the Council must want to protect citizens and tourists from the terrible stench. Actual risk of getting epidemics of disease from the plant won't be the reason for their apparently stopping any nearby development

Where has this public health thing come from?? Completely irrelevant because the smell, whilst pretty vile, is not as often as people are presuming

Moshiri has made no announcements since his introductory remarks in the programme in February.
Kenwright and Anderson are still best friends.
Bit too early for the Bob Dylan quotes.

Moshiri has made several statements, through the media, via Jim White. This was confirmed as true and genuine by the club, to the Liverpool Echo.

Kenwright did nothing to stop his lackey engaging in an unseemly public tit for tat slanging match last November. Kenwright and Anderson are mates now because the club now has money and isn't leaning on Anderson for cash, although they do need co-operation for a new stadium to be built. It's in both sides best interests, plus Anderson is a blue and he genuinely wants the best for the club, even if you remove all political motives.

Think the Bob Dylan quotes are perfectly timed, myself.

Something stinks about all this.

:hayee:
Public Health concerns from the UU waste water treatment plant??? Really?? Would someone like to explain this bizarre conspiracy theory??

The treatment centre is there to process waste and return the water to the Merseyside to ensure the Merseyside is kept clean. Where is the Public Health concern there.

Unless someone is collecting faeces and going to spread it all over the seats and walkways then I think we're fine. The site does not constitute a Public Health incident, it does cause a pollution concern for UU in terms of smell but only fir the public living close by whose life is directly affected
Bizarre that the site can be used as an outdoor music venue, a warehouse nearby can be converted into apartments & a hotel can be built in the vicinity, but you can't build a football stadium due to imagined H&S concerns? I'm sure there have been people on here who have worked at the water treatment plant who say the smell is not from there. Surely it's from the molasses further up the road? Anyway, isn't there a treatment plant at Croxteth too? Maybe it's the boards fault the process has taken so long. They're only interested in sites near to water treatment plants, must reduces our options a bit:).

I think Jim White would help make a perfect foundation...

Just from the tone of recent discussion. I have no idea as to whether the sewerage plant presents an issue to the Council but from reading this thread it appears it does
Excuse my ignorance but could you please explain the correlation between forum gossipers adding 2 + 2 = 5 and the truth backed up with evidence.?
