New Everton Stadium

The Stonebridge visit is a Red Herring. Its still being used as leverage while the finer details of the land purchase are still being discussed.Price and land size have long since been agreed.Peel knows the Clubs offer in the current climate is the best option for the site but still want some sort of involvement in the future as far as the land goes,And this is what Moshiri is not keen on.Peel are more than keen to see the deal done but it will come down to how much they are truly willing to fully relinquish the land...there is a lot of ego involved at minute.

This was from a Peel employee a met with yesterday,he doesn't even like football so when I broached the question he was more than forthcoming.

& Salfords new Stadium on land owned by Peel is also right next to a sewage works(ship canal between), and a sewage works that is being made a lot bigger, there is also a retail park on the other side of it as well. Maybe we'll develop the sewage works as well to harness the methane to power the stadium, it'd have the kopites cackin' in bags if they thought that we were about to profit from their ablutions.
Thought they did that anyway?

They'd just start throwing it at the away fans again.

What I've gathered today is that no one on here knows anything whatsoever about a new stadium. Literally no one knows a thing about a "done deal" on a site location, land size, price, when an announcement will be made etc etc etc.

It's all just pure speculation, which is fine because we like to dicuss these speculations but that's all it is, speculation, hear say and rumours.

People need to stop taking what people say on here who claim to "have contacts" or supposedly "ITK" as gospel. Unless the contact is Moshiri himself then there's no point. Let's just be patient and wait for an OFFICIAL announcement of some sort made by the Club itself.

No matter what happens, I just hope that "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" is behind every thought process and every decision made behind this new stadium. Our motto is our standard.

Now ... who's going to send Dan Meis some pics of Dortmunds stadium asking for a boss Everton version on the famous Liverpool waterfront?

Any of your post about what I've put in a previous post?

Tbh yours is probably the post that has took me in the most, and I'm thankful for sharing it.

That being said I'll be waiting for something official from the club first ... then I can start planning my pub crawl in town before heading to our new ground on the Docks

Weren't they called "nose gays"?!?
You are right mate...posies and nosegays are synonyms for small bunches of aromatic herbs and/or flowers carried to cover up the stench of bacteria (faeces, decomposition etc). Apparently, in the months before his death, Henry VIII absolutely stank of rotting flesh due to necrosis. Syphilis was believed to be the cause. It also affected his brain...he was a deranged tyrant by all reports.
I have not been down to the Liverpool docks for 20 years. But if we get a new home in those environs I will defo be interested in buying an apartment nearby. I hope I won't need a nosegay

So our new stadium will either be situated:
