New Everton Stadium

There are models of 3 stadia in Moshiri's board room and have been there since early summer. Whether any of the 3 are the final design who knows....

I wonder if Moshiri had one final check to see if Goodison could be redeveloped? Anything is possible with money available, or maybe he knew this dock site would be up for grabs and decided immediately that was the best choice.

No mate, depending on what part of concept design we are in, I would expect, and this is only conjecture on my part, that something may become available between 2&4 months.
Considering Dan Meis posted on his instagram account late last year that he was excited to be working on a new ground for us, the claim @The Esk made of Moshiri having a few different model ideas in his office and now the fact that it seems Meis has been chosen you would like to think the design stage is quite advanced.

They do exist. The land purchase has been agreed, and as with all Peel land sales on the Liverpool waters land, is subject to planning permission, that's the same whether it be a stadium, resi or office/other.

They have agreed to purchase the land at a favourable £/acre rate.
Brill if that's the case. I'm not doubting they do, just said I haven't seen any actual evidence of it yet. My original post was questioning the claims that we had actually already purchased the land, not whether we had an agreement in principle to.

You obviously have access to more info on this an most of us Jacko. Do you know what type of deal it is?. A handshake or a more formal option to buy subject to planning?.

Also, the £/acre rate. is that favourable to us or to Peel?. I heard initially it was £20m which was supposedly a fair price, but then the figure of £30m was bandied about which suggests it is favourable to Peel.

The £/acre is a little over current land valuations but it is favourable to both. It was never quite as cheap as £20m but can't speak for the top price, as, as far as I knew at the time we had only an agreement on BM, the price would clearly go up if it is true that we have also had agreement on an area within the dock next door as posted by @theesk

Dan Meis would've had involvement at stage 0. What I haven't put there is that the stages don't necessarily flow seamlessly. I don't know about the stadiums in Moshiris office

The anticipation is too much. I think we should for form a team Oceans 11 style to break into Moshiris office and get pictures of those models. I am calling shotgun on Clooney. I think the Esk would make a great Elliot Gould.

I was thinking that Moshiri may have had 3 separate architect companies do initial design ideas / models as per Dan Meis comment in December last year which he has been weighing up and has now decided to go with the Meis design which would mean that Dan Meis is now going to add more meat to the bone in terms of specifics as you suggested in your post before about the different stages involved.
