How are we going to fund the stadium? Or at least a deposit for a loan to fund it?
Saving your transfer budget to pay for a stadium is stupid.

Not with FFP the way it is it isn't.Saving your transfer budget to pay for a stadium is stupid.
I would imagine that 10,000 extra seats as well as improved corporate facilities and as much as I hate the thought of it, naming rights, etc would bring in quite a lot of extra money to the club.a £200-300,000,000 stadium? how w e going to pa back all those banks and investors?
Thanks Kithnou and Kiwi. So the hope would be that Goodison is not mortgaged and it's sale would contribute to the building of the new stadium.
Can we regularly sell out a 50,000 stadium in that area? And going forward, is that our realistic optimal attendance size? I'm assuming we could never regularly fill a 57,000 seat stadium, right?
Depends really, on success and global reach as much as anything. I think the option should be there to expand to that number. Can we regularly sell out a 50,000 stadium in that area? For me 50K is excessive. 40K attendance is 80%. I dunno, I asked the question, and I don't have even close to an answer...I'm not living on the pulse of things being in America and all.
I have no doubt we could fill the odd derby/big game @ 50K...but that would be the exception to the rule.
