Goodison Park as great as it is, is a nightmare for a non local to plan to come to and watch the game. Parking, getting in and out, getting tickets where u want them etc etc...bringing the kids or the whole family is just hard work tbh.
A new stadium will attract plenty more out of town fans to make the trip more often.
Anyone know IF this was all to go ahead. What sort of time span would we be looking to moving in?? About 5 yrs or longer/shorter?
in 1887 yes mateWe've only averaged 50,00 once in our history haven't we?
All depends on the planning application. Could be a while before that's done.
The good news is that we have a site, just can't see how its going to be funded by this lot.
We don't have a site. We have a 'desire' to use the site.
lol no mate...I was referring to the stadium opponents, not you
Would calling the stadium the School of Science be too tacky?
Not with FFP the way it is it isn't.
Can we regularly sell out a 50,000 stadium in that area? And going forward, is that our realistic optimal attendance size? I'm assuming we could never regularly fill a 57,000 seat stadium, right?
