New Everton Stadium

BMD should be used as a dock...for the hordes of Evertonians from the Wirral sailing over to the magnificent new stadium that rises above it. Forget whether this stadium will go ahead or not - if it doesn't make use of its waterside infrastructure and include a dock for Wirral-based fans, it'd be very short-sighted and a wasted opportunity.

milking kopites for their tears to water the pitch...now that would be some sprinkler system

Make it happen Mosh

I can have an agreement in place to finger my missus which is based on me buying her a nice meal, but if the meal turns out to be crap it's always good to have a slightly less attractive bird to fall back on.
I have trouble understanding all the intricate details about planning permission or financial stuff. You've just explained it wonderfully there for the layman. Thanks woolly

Just a thought - if the land is worth 20m, and we're only committed to buying it if planning is approved, what did Peel have planned for it?

Why not just buy the land unconditionally, and if we cannot build the stadium, either sell the land back to Peel for them to carry out their plans, or build something similar under the clubs ownership?

At least that way the land can be confirmed as bought and give the fans a little more comfort in where the new stadium is intended to be.

Billionaires don't become Billionaires spending on a hope or a prayer.

Moshiri will be doing his upmost to make this happen, he's playing a great hand so far.
