I click on this thread to get the latest update on progress with the new stadium. When I do I have to wade through pages of discussion about what Liverpool fans think about our news. Frustrated.
1. There's always been room enough in the city for two high achieving clubs. It's happened before....more than once. See 1960s and 1980s. No problem. So fans on both sides should relax about it.....it would be good for the whole city to have that again. Also see Manchester right now....two big clubs in one city. The world did not stop revolving on its axis as far as I know.
2. Can't we moderate this thread so that it focuses on the stadium news rather than what Liverpool fans think?

Personally I am enjoying their "fume", you can just see how jealous they are, the stuff some of them come out with is just childish and petty, I just sit back and smile. They have seen their club fall behind the likes of; Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City, arguably Spurs as well, the idea that they could fall behind us as well is too much for some of them to take.
I cant wait to see the actual images of what the new stadium will look like

....from what I can see the Liverpool fans treat us with disdain which I think is understandable because we are not a threat. Selling the naming rights of our training ground to a sponsor with links to Russian wealth is welcome news but not something we should do a lap of honour around Anfield about.
News is good but it's action in respect of a new stadium and real progress on the pitch that will make others sit up and take notice. Getting excited is understandable but we all should know that making boasts can come back and make us look very silly.
