New Everton Stadium

No David. We ask if they want to sell us the land so we can build a stadium there. They say yes or no. If they had said no we would not still be having this discussion. Even a miserable old fart like you can see that. I feel like I'm trying to explain the obvious to my 4 year old, only I know she would grasp the idea quicker.
Have they said yes? Precisely.

Devek? Seriously what the heck are you talking about? Peel met with Everton and decided they didn't want this, so instead of say to Everton NO, they made fake Twitter accounts and post on them to get the whole plan dismantled.

Peel want to redevelop that area but their current plan is over 15 years. With a stadium going in they can do it a lot faster as other companies will want to come in to that area.

Unless Devek, you think that Peel should drop a stadium idea and build a port so ppl can sail to Rhyl and different parts of Wales.
@davek if comes to something when @MrGrumpy is more positive than you mate.

Things aren't quite as simple as that. For the reason's I've suggested so far they cant just thumb their noses at us and refuse to explore the idea put forward for a stadium.

They are as simple as that. Absolutely no conspiracy here Dave. Peel are willing to sell. They have in fact already commited to sell given certain milestones. Your barking up the wrong tree here Dave.

Yes. Yes they have.

I tried not to reply, but the level of nonsense he was chatting got to me. This is business, not the playground.

Just to confirm what I read about his suggestion. Peel are leading Everton down a merry path to let them think they have a chance of getting a stadium built there, purely in order to satisfy LCC and Govt. that they have plans to build on land and prove it wasnt landbanked.... all this on land that is openly expected by all involved to take circa £20 years for the original masterplan to be realised. Hes chatting complete guff and Im worried it might be contagious.

The bait was just hanging there, I tried myself to ignore but it was far to tempting

You missed the bit about the social media campaign that Peel will embark on to turn opinion against the stadium
