Like a lot of other people this board has long since lost the benefit of the doubt for me. Very rare that any board gets a third chance after two failed stadium projects, one of which was never, at any point, viable.
The stadium issue has to be right for the long-term future of the Club and not a vanity project nor a means to an exit strategy that benefits the few. The business case must stack up and it must clearly state why moving is preferable to phased redevelopment. We could be moving away from the city centre at a time when the building must be in use as much as possible every day of the year.
In short WHP needs to be justified and as of now there is absolutely zero out there to pursuade people either way.
