New Everton Stadium

hope this comes off , but think we can file it under more council wish lists, like the trains story a few weeks ago more stations which was a rehash of a transport 2000 document as the title says it was years old and nothing has been done, seems to be a load of look how good we are becoming stuff coming out every other week more than anything concrete, nothing wrong with it really talking up the city, but im not holding my breath.

I love your ambition, but I think ours will be slightly smaller than this. I think the best design we have ever had was the Kings Dock stadium, with retractable roof and retractable pitch. So it could be used for non football related things like concerts and exhibitions

But does Liverpool need a second large indoor arena? Would have been great if they hadn't already got one down by the Kings Dock.
This really was a missed chance for the sake of what would have been a few million quid to get it started

...in time honoured tradition, I wonder if our neighbours will want to move to the Old Lady. I suppose we could sell, but the thought of them soiling that hallowed turf that has seen so many Blue Legends makes me think they should stay in our other old place.

Everton have been a fixture in this city for the last 136 years. We have been in the top flight longer than any other team. The quality and name of the stadium needs to reflect that history and set a new standard for the Premier League.

I also think we should hang on to the site at Goodison Park so that when the WHP stadium is in need of replacement in 50 years or so GP2 can be built on the original site. :)

2010

Everton Football Club have announced plans to build a £9m retail and office complex at Goodison Park, but a stadium move has still not been ruled out.
The four-floor building will be built on the current site of the Club Everton lounge at the stadium's Park End.
The development will house a club shop, museum, cafe, corporate hospitality lounge and office space.

2014

We are building a 50,000 seat stadium
