New Everton Stadium

I love how Meis has been deemed attention seeking. If you're a professional you can no opinion on the politics of your country or mingle with football fans in an attempt to do your job (see match attending/see meeting fans/see getting up early to watch the team). And you simply must pick the most unflattering picture of yourself because you're (probably) over 40 and don't deserve a life outside your job lol
Man's been tasked to do a job and design a stadium that he feels represents Everton you bunch of precious tarts, why are you arsed about his twitter x
If he designs a destination Kirkby effort though, he's dead to me

I doubt another architect would be tweeting fans dropping "hints" with a selfie of himself whilst boasting about his attendance to big games.

Just screams look at me to be honest, should let his work do the talking.

Lads you are grown adults, you don't like his content don't read it, end of.

As for wanting updates I'm sure as and when something relevent has to be said it will be. People need to chill out a bt.

I find this hilarious - the badgering he gets in Twitter "how's the stadium coming along?" etc - as if he's going to announce the design and the details of the build! That kind of announcement will only come from the club itself - through official channels.

It's nowhere near attention seeking! We can agree to disagree on this point but the man gets constantly bombarded with beg tweets from our fans. He has been enjoying watching the blues, I want him to 'get us'

Whereas if he didn't interact at all with the fans who contact him, he'd be deemed by some as not interested in the fan base and up his own hoop.

My view on it, is that regardless of what position you are in, at any company, in any line of work, some people will disagree with some or all of your views. The only thing I'm remotely bothered about with Dan Meis, is what the outcome of the stadium is and how it looks. How is he going to fit an 80k stadium on the site and make it look incredible while maintaining the feeling of intimate surroundings. So, while reading any of his tweets, the ones that aren't pertinent to that will be the ones I filter out and pay no attention to. Some people will be really appreciative of the approach he takes, others not so much, hey hum.

Not the point. He's an architect. All I wish to hear are his thoughts on stadiums....in fact, scrap that, I'd rather he kept his thoughts about Everton and its ongoing stadium plans to himself. It makes it all sound very amateurish and insubstantial when he's tweeting about it all the time when there's nothing to report.

Maybe he and Trump have one thing in common...they should both shut their Twitter accounts down.

He's usually Answering questions put to him by evertonians asking for info about the new ground. As for his opinions on Trump he's perfectly entitled to them. He's also entitled to voice them on a public domain such as twitter, exactly the same the way you post your opinions on this forum. Saying "he's an architect, stick to architecture" makes you sound like piers Morgan

You can't call Dave out for that mate, He's a misery, and consistently sticks to being miserable.

THIS
The same people who are calling him a media whore are the very ones who would be slaying him for lack of communication.
Some people are actively looking for ANY reason to moan.

Last time I looked he wasn't forcing anyone to look at his own private twitter feed, if it was a company twitter account then I would agree with you.

He is using Twitter how it was supposed to be used to tell everyone his thoughts/what he's doing, just like millions of other people. I expect going to games etc. would be the kind of things your average Joe would write, so in that book everyone is a show off.

I don't care if he jots down how he likes to wear womens pants and calls himself Susan at the weekends as long as he designs us a boss new stadium.

I've said your last paragraph a few times
