New Everton Stadium

Wish he'd shut up

If something goes wrong and it all falls through (let's face it, we have previous), then we're gonna look like massive bells. The RS will have infinite amount of material to rip us to pieces.

It's a cringe fest.
I prefer we have done, to don't worry we will do it. There's been a lot of this around Everton at the moment.

Joe Anderson and his mates like Kilfoyle were Witchfinder Generals for Kinnock when he was going after good people on the council who were creating jobs, houses and leisure centres for the people of Liverpool. He has a loooooong history of doing the bidding of those in power and acting against the best interests of ordinary citizens of Liverpool.

Pick up a book on Liverpool's political history mate and have a read. You might get half a clue of what you're talking about.

Wow, totally irrelevant to the point. But well done you for living in the 80's and dismissing what's actually happening today. I'm glad that you're sitting on your high horse and berating people instead of doing something about it

Anyway I've made my point and this is going off topic, so I'll leave it be.

Case that feller. Running round prostrating himself before billionaires and all the while the social fabric of the city falls apart as he carried out cuts.

He's a disgrace. Labour man my arse...he was one of the Blairites who put 47 Liverpool councillors in the dock.
Hopefully he'll remove them now so construction can start.

Kilfolye has been very outspoken against Anderson on numerous things

Exactly.

Read a book.

Don't implement the cuts, WTF are you going on about. They don't receive the money, there's no alternative option.

Political history, pipe down and get with the real world. Stop acting like socialist numero uno, because you're far from aware of what's going on.
Having a certain tedious mammary on ignore can lead to threads and conversations to be a little confusing at times - but it's blatantly obvious he's still there spouting testicles when I see such replies ;)

Blimey, so the ITK suggestions that we'd agreed this price "subject to planning permission" in August 2016 were absolutely miiiiiiiiiiiiles out.

It's all ambiguous at this moment in time though, nobody really knows. The land for the stadium may well have been sorted months ago but the overall development may need additional work/funding from whoever.

There's others on this thread much more qualified to comment but I doubt that discussions currently taking place concern just one parcel of land and just the stadium, I'd have thought the entire framework would be getting pieced together. Obviously I could be talking bollocks too

Mate, just do yourself a favour., arguing with this neanderthal is totally pointless, you have seen that in the Koeman thread.

If you ignore him he might get back to watching his video collection of George and Mildred, Mind your language and Citizen Smith.

What a dreary old boring crank.

We'll at least he's changes his tune since last May - this was reported in the Echo back then,

[However, Peel Group's position does not appear cut and dried. Earlier this week development director Lindsey Ashworth told the ECHO: “Liverpool Waters does not need kick-starting. We have a massive amount of projects underway that we haven’t disclosed to the public yet.”

Referring to Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson’s suggestion that the stadium could be built on Peel land, Mr Ashworth said: “I’m not a party to those discussions so you need to ask them that question.

“There are a lot of projects going through the pipeline and it takes time to do. We want to make sure we get the quality and right balance of projects to do it properly and get it right.”]
