Why do the Echo put Liverpool Before Everton? E comes before L. Not arsed how pedantic it is.
I know but the stadium could lead to the for us too plus even without a sugar daddy I would still make us a far bigger threat to them. But City are not challenging and overtaking Manure just because of their stadium, it's because they've got an insanely rich owner who appears to be hellbent on world domination.
Arseholes before excellence alphabetically.Thats actually valid question

To be honest, I don't give a flying f*** about what they do, their books & revenues lets them do different things to us and worrying about it won't get our old Lady updated or replaced.
I don't disagree at the very minimum extensive renovation of Goodison is an imperative going forward. Investments and modern stadia go hand-in-hand: given that it by far the greatest and crucially the only truly fixed asset: of the scant additional buildings a football club might own, even the training ground and club shops can be sold off, moved, altered wholesale. A new stadium meanwhile should be good security for at least a hundred years, leaving behind the realisable assets. And thus the new money flows; Man City, Southampton, Sunderland, Hull, Stoke, Cardiff, Leicester, Wigan, Middlesbrough to name but a few.We all feel a bit like that but on the other side staying at Goodsion isn't an option either so from a business perspective Bill either gets a new stadium built, sells or sees his investment decrease in price.
It won't be too long before UEFA and even the FA require many changes to bring GP up to standard.
We're riding on a bit of crest of a wave being seen as the equals to Spurs and not far away from the rest. Without a new stadium we will fall into the rest of the pack again.
As for Liverpool - I can imagine them being worried if we build a new stadium. Who would have thought City would see them challenging Utd on the pitch and increasingly off it only a decade ago.
Remember the leaked Walton Hall Park Stadium plans from 6 months ago?
Wondering in light of everything if these are now legitimised?
Six months?
That document regarding Sainsburys proposal to building a store with Everton building a stadium on WHP, which incidentally was dismissed by the club, was shown by KEIOC six YEARS ago.
