Cain Hoy Enterprises said it had “terminated its assessment and accordingly is no longer considering making an offer for Tottenham Hotspur”.

It was only ever a tentative peek at them anyrate. Thats what I heard. Looking at diversifying their portfolio, or some other money-speak nonsense.

If what I have heard about WHP and stuff is on the money, then they might see a better range of returns up here.

...would hope that Hicks and Gillette are not part of that US syndicate.

One never knows,but I think they are still looking at potential opportunities either at home or abroad. They seem to be in expansive mode to increase their portfolio.

The Spurs price was ridiculous, reckon they could Everton as we are now for a hell of a lot less, say 250 mill and have money to spare for the stadium. They could perhaps look at Ayre and his friends to what they have done with our neighbours.
