New Everton Stadium

As yourself and others have mentioned, a 55k capacity should be the minimum however equally we shouldn't overstretch ourselves.

Close or reaching to 60k would be optimal for me, as long as there's flexibility to extend this if and when it is necessary, but less would be woeful.

I do think we'll go down the cheap route and go with 50k sadly. I imagine LCC will guarantor us a £300 million loan so anything more you would imagine will have to come from the clubs own pockets. I doubt we'll ever go higher unless we get a takeover down the line and have the stadium expanded like City.

With respect mate I think you are well wide of the mark there.
This guy does not do cheap options. You don't employ one of the worlds leading architects who is known for his ground breaking designs and ask him to knock something up on the cheap.
For one he wouldn't be part of a project like that as it's his own reputation on the line and you can't get away with a flat pack monstrosity like the Kirkby design on a World Heritage Site.
Peel would have not sold the land unless they had a really good idea of what is going there and it will be a 60,000 seater.
As a few others have mentioned on this forum men like Moshiri have 5-10 year revenue plans and a make-do option to sell later to someone else is definitely not in his agenda. He IS the guy who has taken over. It has got to look fantastic to fit in with what Peel are doing on the rest of the site.
I respect your opinion but I think our new ground will be eye popping!! ;)

I agree
Moshiri has a plan and no one will know the plan till he decides to tell us.
These men don't become billionaires without a very clever brain and a lot of business acumen.
Him and Asmanov did not get where they are by doing things on the cheap or without a long term plan.

Somewhere Around 54/55k feels like the tipping point. Beyond that and i think we would start to lose the home advantage due to a diluted and hollow atmosphere.
