As I said last week mate: the reason we've seen no images up to this point is that the club want to control the design process to slip that athletics track in.

Those mock-ups remind me of the time I saw John Aldridge eating a dead pigeon on Hanover Street at 4am, screaming "Now who's laughing" and asking passers by for spare change so he could "feed the iguanas", whatever that meant.

So, all in all, not the worst.

The Roma stadium has changed massively from the very first sketches and plans, will be the same here, utterly not arsed what the initial power-point 'imaginings' show, it's what the final version ends up as

I do know this now being out there is a good thing though. The strength of feeling against it will force them back to the drawing board.

We dont want a generic St Mary's/Stadium of Light/Riverside Stadium monstrosity.
