Unfortunately, the Anfield Road End redevelopment will take Anfield's capacity to around 59,000.

Besides, we should be looking to compete with the likes of Spurs (who are in the process of building a 62,000 all-seater), not the RS.

I think we should be looking at a capacity which suits us, not so we can say we have more seats than someone else. I'm still not sure why anyone over the age of 14 cares who has the bigger stadium.

I just parked up next to the Bramley Moore pub in front of the big red wall, was only there 15 mins but had no problems at all and was quiet.

If the stadium is built to accommodate the commonwealth games first, I just can't imagine how they'll do that?

Unless they build some/all the sides behind their final position & slide them forward. Didn't they do that across the park??

When do we know if Liverpool gets the games? (Personally I think it's nailed that L gets them games )

We would need to lose at least 40 rows behind the goals, not the first 10. As has been discussed on here many times, the stands at Hampden are miles back from the pitch and are it is not comparable to the type of ground we want.

That was Hampden Park. That's already a bowl shape with way too much space behind the goals.

The track raised on stilts could work down the sides. Behind the goals I just don't see how it can without moving the stands.

We find out whether us or Birmingham represent the UK in September. I'm not sure when the winner is announced to host the games.

Excellent idea giving options to all the cry arses. Instead of booing they can just swivel there seats, and with an added option of ejecter seats for the away end (especially useful on derby day)
