New Everton Stadium

officially yes.

we were never going to Stonebridge.

Moshiri was in talks with bill for 18 months BEFORE he invested in us, and was looking into stadium stuff before deciding to invest.

the stadium plans/talks have now been ongoing for 2 years.

its definitely dragging on much longer than it should, making me believe that its all just hype and no action

There absolutely is stuff going on. And some people have seen the plans.

cant wait to see some actual works going on.

plans mean nothing at this point.

You and me both.
But rest assured it's not a facade and the club is serious about this project. I can't give you a timescale or anything. I haven't seen the plans myself. But I know someone who has.

I would say it's still early days but this is no pie in the sky project. Everton absolutely intend on building s stadium at BMD and are taking the methodical steps needed to make it happen.

Yes, there's enough info there to work out what it's like, tight space (landlocked even?). No expansion. One good end, one inferior end. Steep stands starting close to the pitch, overlapped or not we don't know, there's still a few unknowns in there mind.
Mind you a lot of this was known before the fan consultation on what it should be like!

I'd love to see the design risk assessment for this project regarding fans.

Person at risk: fan.
Risk: Unexpected loss.
Hazard: self inflicted drowning.
Likelihood: Almost certain
Severity: death.
Control measure: Unexpected win.
Resulting risk: inebriation
Resulting hazard: accidental drowning.
Likelihood: Almost certain
Severity: Death
Control measure: unexpected draw?
