New Everton Stadium

It will move further than it is now for sure, the delay might come later next year. A lot needs to happen before a shovel gets put into the ground and all of that can be done threat of relegation or not.
We can have any number of drawings produced, but the key to the building of the new stadium is the finance, This will not be forthcoming while we still look to be in danger of relegation.
Best to forget about a new stadium altogether until the football bit is sorted.

Why? We have LCC as guarantors, that literally means all money invested will be repaid.

Planning permission will be applied for, so we will see what the proposed stadium will look like soon enough. We can't keep Peel waiting forever so this will have to be done. This is relatively low cost and to stop now will waste a lot of money already spent.

However will we start building that stadium next year if we are still in trouble or even worse have been relegated, I don't know. But I do know a new stadium goes hand in hand in having the income to build a stronger team on the pitch.

Some seem confident, some very sceptical. What exactly is the hold-up with releasing size, cost, initial renderings!?!? The longer this goes on alongside the abysmal performance on the pitch, the more frustrated the fans become, especially me. Everton need to release some sort of statement soon to at least give fans a little reassurance that the stadium remains realistic. Tweets by the Mayor and an architect in the USA are all very well, but the leadership at Everton need to show a little more leadership right now.

Announcement imminent. In the next week or so I think.
There were things going on at FF today. Photoshoot, stadium model etc. It's coming...

Posted seconds before you. I really hope that is true. It would be so Everton for this to collapse now - literally the chance of a lifetime and it won't come again, at least not on the waterfront.

Probably already posted

Fake News that, the artist impression of how it will look is now up on the Peel site after the budget was cut to buy a new striker in Jan.
