New Everton Stadium

Its clear Moshri’s not in this for the money, he’s already getting close to having wasted any profit he’d hope to make and a huge % of what he’s allegedly worth.

He’s fronting Usmanov’s toy and once Usmanov joins him we’ll reap the rewards of Usmanov and Moshri using us as something of a status symbol.

I hope you're right, but I think it will go - outlay - aka Interest free 'loans' into 'debt' which will, in the manner of your usual accountancy sleight of hand, miraculously morph in to 'shares' which, with the value added factor of the stadium, hopefully be sold for a profit.

Inflation reduces the actual cost of the repayment over time.

Building a stadium now that in a short few years will not be large enough to meet the demand for tickets would be absolute lunacy.

A 60,000 iconic stadium on the waterfront will be something seen all over the world. I don't think people realise how big a deal this is. This can be a once in a century game changer, it is as important as that.
20 m a year naming rights would go a long way to paying the Mortgage
The USM Dixie Dean stadium has a nice ring to it

Always admired the German clubs for the way that they run their football clubs, manage their stadia and keep ticket prices relatively low, but I'm sorry....this is not what football is about. Nice if you can afford it, but a long, long way from the game that I grew up watching and playing and no longer reflecting the working class roots of the game worldwide. It's a corporate monster that needs checking. I just want BMD to be big & intimidating, reflecting Everton and the character of the docks and the city of Liverpool. I know there has to be some level of corporate facilities, but hope there is nothing like this.
