New Everton Stadium

The real money to be made is to get the stadium built and for the club to win a premiership and play in the CL every year , if he wants to make real money that is the ambition.[/QUOTE]

Be interesting to see whose place we take every year, Uniteds, Citys, Chelseas, Arsenals?

The silence is a concern, particularly Meis although I guess the funding plan with LCC has delayed any big reveal from him. That BMD page on his web site is in a state of inertia, but the wording still gets your heart pumping. The stadium principles process running to Feb 23rd probably means we won't hear much more until March - might just be a PR exercise, but one they have to conduct regardless. Confirmation of the funding from the council would be nice as I think it will be all systems go from there. Planning I don't think will be a problem in that area at all. I'm staying positive as this is the closest we have ever been to a new stadium coming to fruition. No point drowning in negativity - the season's been hard enough.

Perhaps he's been told to tone it down.

He was as guilty as anyone for whipping up the masses into frenzy.

I'm actually glad it's taking time, as opposed to Desperation Kirkby that looked like it was knocked out over a lunch break.

If that is the case, is there a problem with that?
IF Usmanov is in on it, on the face of it, No.
WHAT IF he does get some traction at Arsenal, then what use is the Plan B...he might just pull the rug out from under Moshiri and say sorry comrade, its just business, nothing personal
#get it in writing.

Or; Moshiri is in over his head and He, is 'the greater fool' of that 'buy cheap sell dear' principle.

The real money to be made is to do with getting on the inside track of everything that's going to happen in the area west of the city centre in the future. The potential for extensive redevelopment of the area is massive. That's what makes the new stadium there a must. Moshiri/Usmanov will already be mobilising the vast wealth within the City (London that is) to profit from the development.

There are a few lads ( me included ) who realise this is the end game and why Corestate got involved but a lot don’t see it
As I said before if Moshiri sells up and
A makes a large profit
B makes a loss
C breaks even
D makes a fortune on the docks
I don’t really care as long as we get a bright shiny 61878 capacity stadium on the docks that we can afford to pay off.

My own ( possibly misguided opinion ) is that Moshiri is a runner for Usmanov until he divests his Arsenal shares.
The American came sniffing , Usmanov panicked , bought Moshiris shares and sent him to do the deal.
Too many coincidences and happenings to think this is purely Moshiri buying Bills train set

..that makes sense. And I guess it’s not only the money. I imagine these blokes have massive ego’s and there’s nothing quite like owning a successful English Premier League club to raise your profile.
Among the many rumours being bandied about when Abramovich bought Chelsea was that he wanted to increase his profile in Britain , get a British passport and make him to high a profile target for the Russian Authorities to go after
No one really knows how these lads think and what their reasons and end game is

The chances of Usmanov getting traction at Arsenal are even remoter than Davek sending Baines and Moshiri a Christmas card

The big money is going to be made from the massive retail/hospitality redevelopment of the area between bramley moor and the liver building. This is where Usmanov will get involved, if at all, as it would be regarded as seperate from club ownership. Both he and the Mosh would make a mint.

Most of that area will be a business led district rather than retail. The retail area is already at Liverpool One.

Sorry Degsy "Biffo", do not agree with you on Mosh, e,g. Usmanov nothing to do with the liver Building purchase. The only evidential support from Usmanov has been the naming of FF but Mosh is also a director of USM.

I actually believe he is in it for the long haul, well put it this way will be, what? 4 to 5 years before we are playing on BMD. So how is short term or long term. There is another good point made by Eggs, who would buy the shares of a football club for £900 mill with a £600 mill debt on the books?
