More worrying is that even the local press (echo) are not forcing the issue. Probably cos they are too focused on the RS to care about us.Kenwright and his mates are so, so lucky that the national media couldn't care less about what goes on at Everton.

I think we must be the only club in the premiership era who hasn't redeveloped the stadium. Under this bunch of clowns running the club, it's likely never to happen.
Heads should roll over that Echo article.
Elstone's first
I think it is time for Elstone to resign.
Yeah, the board needs to go too, but at least Elstone can actually be moved on. Too many bad decisions and not enough progress on moving us forward.
Yup, think there's only us, West Brom, QPR and Burnley who've stood pat on stadia redevelopment and ooooops, both QPR and Burnley have gone down.
QPR have at least got plans for a new stadium, issues with landowner though.
If the board fail to deliver WHP then I think it'll swing a lot of people who are currently sat on the fence.
It does sound like Elstone is preparing the ground for backing out, but you're not going to get enough people behind a move to oust Elstone until WHP becomes a non-starter. Realistically, you've got another 18 months or so before that happens.
So a new stadium, rich owner, in London... Despite getting relegated the future for QPR could/should improve... nice when you've most of the necessary ingredients at hand innit?
...from what more economically savi folk on here are are saying is that the ground move is a key dependency for the successful future of Everton Football Club. If it is that crucial I fear the Board haven't got the foresight to make it happen.
Key to ultimate survival, if Bolton hadn't moved from Burnden to the Reebok or whatever it's now called, they could have folded.
I was meaning clubs who have been regulars in the premier league, but now you have named those 3 teams (and QPR have plans to build a new stadium) it makes it even more shameful and disappointing we haven't done anything. It really does make u think if we had got kings dock, all those years ago what would 10 years plus of increased revenue have done for us.Yup, think there's only us, West Brom, QPR and Burnley who've stood pat on stadia redevelopment and ooooops, both QPR and Burnley have gone down.
...I really don't know but my inclination is that we need to change. We have been at the forefront of new ideals for over 100 years, we have been the first to change (numbers on shirts, floodlights, under soil heating etc) it's probably time to stay one step ahead.
