New Everton Stadium

I put my shed up on time and on budget so a stadium can't be much more difficult. After all, a shed has a full roof, a stadium doesn't.
I can be available to knock a stadium up next year if that helps.

I’m happy to do a bit of labouring mate , take me back to me youth . I’m a lot older now obviously so i’d expect me mostly to be moaning about my back .

Reminds me of a classic sketch from 'Not the 9 o'clock News' when Mel Smith (as an Irish contractor) walks into the office of Government Contract Minister, Griff Rhys-Jones, to tender for the construction of the Channel Tunnel and hands him a piece of paper on which it says....'One Channel Tunnel - £50,000'.

They did a cost analysis on a retractable roof for the Spurs ground and found it wouldn't be worth it. Events are planned so far in advance that if it rains you just deal with it. The same events will be booked at a stadium whether there's a retractable roof or not.

I can understand that it wouldn’t make sense in London, because there are other options, like Wembley arena or the o2. But if you look at Schalke’s stadium they have things like, ice hokey, WWE and basketball, there is no way they would do those in the rain. I think the reason we haven’t gone for it is cost and that the nearby Echo Arena would object to the stadium and delay it
