..it’s not only opposing teams and staff that utilise the Titanic Hotel, but I understand newly transferred Everton players reside there. I can’t see it being open to non-residents on a BMD match day.

At the moment the hotel is an old Rum warehouse, but plans are in place for it to expand into the old tobacco warehouse opposite. The rooms are stunning.

The development of the tobacco warehouse is a mixed development of office, residential a new hotel separate to the titanic and an open daily market on the ground floor. They want to create the Camden Town vibe down there

We had a guided tour of Finch Farm a few years back, and were told when the current indoor pitch was built, it was too small and the roof too low, so it was never fit for purpose of use as a proper indoor pitch. I'm surprised it's taken us this long tbh, especially with other developments they have made since. I guess with it being the biggest building on the site, they decided to wait until they had other expansions they wanted to include. All sounds good though.

Can you imagine fat sams face when he walks into finch farm and sees the low roof? How do they expect me to train in conditions like this? You mean I’m going to have to try to learn how to play football on the floor?
