Its probably easiest just to build a 55k stadium, but say it is 60k. lets face it, who is going to countThe last 5k seats are the most expensive. They'll look at the cost/benefit analysis and if those seats aren't full maybe 90% of the time, they most likely wont build them.
I'd love a 60k stadium but I'd prefer a futureproof stadium that'll mean the club can operate within it's means.
I'll take a packed 55k over a 61,878 with 7k empty seats any day.

Which one? We've got a fair few...Heard a few weeks back. Mr Usmanov wants to build a Dubai type tower on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey.
We are truly The People (of Liverpool) Club. We are doing so much for regeneration whilst the RS are content knocking down communities for their own purposes...and they object to us wanting to help developing an unused part of the city. How many Reds will be working on the new North docks development...or is it solely Blues? They really are delusional.
didn't we own the ones behind the park end? I thought in the old days some players lived in those. We have knocked down a few houses ourselves to build the Gladwys Street and the ones where the car park is now. We obviously though do more charity and community work thany they do.

...and continue to do so?Did we purposely run the area down and lower property values?

The one with a touch of class and subtlety.Which one? We've got a fair few...
and STILL do. Take a look around there. All smoke n mirrors. Place is still a slum. That was umpteen decades ago and nothing like the way our neighbours treated Kemlyn Road.
Yes you are right ,I never knew there were houses on the other side of Gwladys St but looking a old maps there was a row of 20 terraced houses between St Lukes and Bullens Road. They disappear from the maps in the 1930's .Goodison Avenue and the houses on Walton Lane were bought and demolished much later ,maybe the 1950's I don't know for sure.We have knocked down a few houses ourselves to build the Gladwys Street and the ones where the car park is now. Very true, totally depressing in those streets.and STILL do. Take a look around there. All smoke n mirrors. Place is still a slum.
Lovely signage throughout the area promising the Garden Of Eden Mk2. Absolute 'kin dogsVery true, totally depressing in those streets.
It's scruffy around Goodison, but not as down and depressing as round the pit
