New Everton Stadium

Except it's not tho is it.
If moshiri was to sell it theres the value of the club plus the 215m loan that is owed to moshiri.
The clubs worth about 250m + 215m loan to pay off+ 500-600m for a stadium
So that's close to 1bn fo the club and a stadium, I haven't included transfers in that either.
Keep on dreaming mate, its win/win money making project where all parties; BPB, EFC and Moshiri get something.
BPB gets cash and a legacy, EFC get a Stadium and Mosh gets shed load of cash...or do you believe he, like us, likes Z Cars, a game of footy and a few beers.
Yeah right.

His head has completely fallen off there. He's one step away from abusing people with autism and mocking the homeless (again).

One too talk about racism when he defends Tommy Robinson and his ilk. He will accuse you of bullying next.

Anyway, think we will get further news regarding the new stadium at the AGM. Maybe a hint of the designs, lets hope eh.

On a different note. It Would be great if we could do something like what Schalke 04 have done with our new stadium.

Reduced prices for ex dockers, remembering and celebrating significant dates in the Liverpool docks history.

Perhaps a museum about the dockers lives. Bars etc names after famous dockers or people associated with Bramley Moore.

And try to get as much of the history of bramley Moore and the docks in the stadium as possible.

Take a look at the link below from a recent Schalke game commemorating the recent shutting of the coal mines.

For me this is the kind of look we should be going for. Something a bit different. Doesn’t have to be as strong as what Schalke do, as they have very strong ties to the mines, but I just think it looks unique and classy and they look a very similar club to ourselves, with the fact that there support are working class etc.

Hadn't realised he was a member of the Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon Single Brain Cell Sharers Society. Explains a great deal about his repugnant views on those less fortunate in society.

52,000 seats, all of them good Blues hopefully. Let's see what the new year brings.

I know quite a bit about Sunderland as know loads of their fans through living that way for years. They are a big club but again context is needed.

Their PL attendances over the last 10 years have been swelled by cheap deals and freebies, they completely destroyed any concept of exclusivity and their ticketing model collapsed. It's why they make less than us in match day revenues.

It's a decent case study for capacity/price purposes.
Yeah mate, don't know much about all that but I know quite a few people from up that way myself. I was just trying to mention the fact that they would have quite a large catchment area for locals as match going fans. I always argue with them and the bar codes that we're by far the bigger club than them because of what we've got to compete with.

Sheffield derby may have been 53000+
Correction:

The Boxing Day Massacre, was a match played on 26 December 1979. It was famous for being the biggest win in recent times, when Wednesday won 4–0, with goals from Ian Mellor, Terry Curran, Mark Smith and Jeff King. The United side at the time were top of the league, while Wednesday were 4th in the table. The match was watched by a record Third Division crowd of 49,309 spectators.

Only handful of clubs ever got crowds of over 30K for big matches in the third tier with averages between 20K and 25K in promotion seasons.

Sheff United got 45K for the return match and Villa got 48K v Bournemouth in 71-2.

We really need this project to hurry up. The longer we plod around midtable whilst that lot are riding high the more ground we lose in this city.

The whole Klopp and Salah Murals in the city centre, them likely to win the title and who knows what else in the next 2-3 seasons we really could do with either a shock cup win and a major PR exercise like trophy presentation at the Liver Buildings or the stadium financing sorted ASAP and the project moved ahead of schedule.

IF Liverpool Waters goes to plan we'll have an excellent platform to build future success from being part of such a massive project... however I fear 4-5 seasons away is too long with how well they are doing at present and I hope the club is looking to try get this done a little quicker or at the minimum bang on schedule.

Sunderland crowds in the prem doesn’t paint an accurate picture. They used to give away thousands of free tickets. They will say they were averaging 40k+ because of their loyalty, but the truth is without free tickets it would have been well below 40k. I think Newcastle have some great deals on to get fans through the gate too. Regarding Everton, I think a 60k ground would be ok providing you are doing well. By doing well, I don’t mean challenging for the league, or even top 4, but just having a good team that’s going to be around the top 6. You’d need some very good deals and cheap tickets to fill it mind. Can’t see you filling it every game, and the last thing you want is a ground that becomes too big for you. Not sure how quick you’re selling out home games now???

Yeah I’ve noticed the last few years you’ve been pulling in 38-39k regardless of results or performances. Just wondered how quick your sell outs are. For example if you’re playing one of the top teams, how many weeks before hand does it sell out. What’s your cheapest seats at the moment?
