New Everton Stadium

Obviously why we have a season ticket waiting list now, it can't be for the football we play.

I certainly would not like the job of seat allocations, its easy to say one for one swap but as the ground is bigger it may not work.

As an individual I changed my seat from top balcony down to main stand about 15 years ago as I have difficulty on my legs and two seats came available (me and my niece - not both for me!!!) on the aisle which means I get to stretch a bit.

Now as I'm not formally diagnosed as disabled I cannot be given any preference but I am sure their are many others like me who have needs for their particular seats but none that would guarantee preferential treatment.

We could all discuss the fairest way for seat allocations until the cows come home but as this is Everton I wont hold my breathe until the keys are handed over to the new Estates/Facilities Manager and the H&S certs are in our grubby mitts!!!!:celebrate::celebrate:

And it's also an admission that we can't compete with the teams above us.

Juve say hi with their 41k capacity.

Would you rather build a huge 70k stadium on the East Lancs? There may be many reasons the capacity has to be 55k, not all coukd be because Moshiri wont spend extra £££, but i'd rather have that in an amazing location than a 65k seater somewhere else.

Well of course he does.
There are only 3 business options.
You pay,
I pay,
Somebody else pays
You know the longterm plan is to build it...with somebody elses money, just like you do with your house if you buy one...sell it on for more than you laid out, just like you do with your house.

The long term debt?? Well that's another thread.
But the theory is that they won't lend it to you if they don't think you can pay it back
There has to be realism. The realsitic option for Everton would have been to carry on the redevelopment started under Johnson. That divvy started the move bandwagon and it hasn't stopped rolling.

I tell you this though: if/when BMD goes west like all the others, after the disappointment has abated there will be a massive surge to rebuild Goodison. Those old Ward-MvHigh blueprints will be getting the cobwebs blown off them and the KEIOC redevelopment plan will get another airing.

This is the last new-build proposal this board will bring to the table ever. One last shot at it.

I think you will find its a lot further down the line than were led to believe.

That video released yesterday was filmed nearly twelve months ago. Some of it in January,

Tom Hughes...COME ON DOOOOWN!

Edit; I've said it before if it does all turn to custard, it'll be...'Commence Operation Re-develop Bullens'.

Your right but unfortunately for you, me and everybody, there is stuff we are simply not privy too and I am more than confident this is way more further down the road than we are being narrated too by all parties.
Fingers crossed. But these will be dsisigns and they mean nothing other than a dream. PP and cash to build it are way off.
