New Everton Stadium

WHP pics please. What kind of area it is

It's the green space in the background behind Stanley park (in the foreground)

People are right to be sceptical. We are dealing with proven liars here after all. Personally I think this is all just talks about advanced talks about possible sites funded by possible types of private sector partners etc etc - set in motion to counter any dissent concerning being left behind while Liverpool are granted permission to upgrade to 60,000...a subterfuge that would suit Anderson and the council too.

I am intrigued to learn what's different now though from Elstone. He was quoted only last year saying that a stadium was not in the pipeline. I cant see a retail outfit like Tesco or Sainsbury (mooted as anchors for WHP once) in this climate looking to commit. Is there any chance of a land giveaway by LCC - something that would cause uproar and may even breach EU rules? Everton cant foot the cost. So (giving them the benefit that this is not just a crock of brown stuff) what likely scenario has fallen into place to bring forth a stadium announcement of sorts?

Bill planning to cash in on a few assets plus increased tv money and potential European money?

It will pad out the AGM nothing more hopefully the shareholders in attendance will not be shrugged off from getting on with the matters at hand such as the late accounts, business performance and progress by the club in finding a new buyer for the club after 14 years.

Wow! Just wow!

But i quess rs would sabotage any attempt us to get boss place for our stadium?

We don't need much help with this one do we.

I actually started my dissertation on the redevelopment of Goodison and the impact on the local economy. Was [Poor language removed] boss but there was too much that had already been done. Got told to [Poor language removed] off by the club for my troubles at least.

So you would be happy to see the club playing in a cowshed (because that’s what it will be for 100-150m) and pay of a cowshed debt till 2028? How about we find new owners who know how to successfully deliver infrastructure projects and can deliver a new ground that the team will be proud to play in and be watched by the fans for the next 100 years.

or should we just play it cheap and help the owners to increase their shareholder value and allow them to disappear into the horizon once they have sold us off and left us to play a no mark flat pack ground.
Or maybe a stadium like this this for £90 million, courtesy of your fellow usual suspect snapper.
