New Everton Stadium

Liverpool, for example, only have a waiting list because of how much they limit their ST sales and market the remainder of tickets to tourists and day trippers. They sell fewer ST than we do. If we had a board that could actually manage and promote the club commercially I think we could fill a bigger stadium.
The problem with season tickets is even for adults they are heavily discounted, for example mine costs approximately £31 per Premier League match. That equates to about 25.75 + VAT.
Kids £95 ticket is equivalent to £4.17 excluding VAT.
Hate to say it, but if you can sell more to day trippers and occasionals, you are better off in terms of turnover if you get your pricing right.
Await suitable chastisement.

We don't need a new ground though. Plus it has character and history. We should just accept a piecemeal plan of getting the Council to CPO some of the terraced streets around GP to create space. Redevelop a stand at a time starting with the Bullens.

Not a fan of cpo's, the thought that a business can say here you go, here's x amount of money for your house now do one. If people want to leave fair do's but to force them out is plain wrong, if I remember right we where quite scathing of our loveable neighbour's for dolng the same thing.

As has been discussed previously many times in this (now very very long) thread we don't need to buy any houses for a re-development. A new park end stand and a re-configured main stand would give us everything we need.

Maybe a bit over the top that comment but nice to notice that youve acknowledged that he actually is among the best chairmans in the league.

I'm sure he was joking. What exactly is it that makes him 'among the best chairmans in the league'? The fact he makes a decent speech once a season or the fact he was in the boys pen?

Obviously this is going to happen because big boss blue bill is the best chairman in the league

Ah and that's why it WONT happen. Not a good deal for Everton (as in, Everton will have to pay money towards it), and Bill and Bob with their supreme business acumen will see right through such a terrible scenario

It's all down to the price paid though. If it's market value plus say 10% then that's okay in my book.

I disagree mate. The Bullens and the Gwladys are the oldest and have no lounges. I love the Main Stand and remember it has a load of full lounges every match. Let's leave that to the end in my book. Likewise the Park End. It does a job for now.

It's the area around the Gwladys and the school that need clearing in my book.

With all due respect our 2 best stands are the Main & Park end .I truly understand the historical value of the the Bullens & Gwladys st stands but lets face it they have had their day.Bullens could house a full length stand incorporating much needed Corporate boxes without the restricted views.Gwladys st needs to be fully reconfigured , the rear of the Upper and particularly Lower Gwladys really dont come up to todays standards. These stands have been magnificent in their day , but are now way behind many of the Premier league (& some Championship grounds). If theres no ground move these stands should be first to be brought up to date. IMO of course.

I'm not sure exactly how many we have, although Everton announced 27k sold in June. Liverpool normally sell the 24.5k ST they make available. This has a few interesting comparisons on it
