New Everton Stadium

The city is desperate for investment mate, especially the North of the city. The city is awash with stalled and failed schemes from dodgy developers.

They'll be all over this and have been on board since day one. They seemed to have had everything lined up before submitting a planning app with consultations. The consultations aimed at ensuring everyone has had an opportunity to have their say before planning.

Walk past that deserted building site by China town (whatever happened to that?) and it's embarrassing.

Been using my free time walking along the docks every day and never really appreciated how nice it is when it's hot.

It's a shame it's a car park on the river side, being able to have a beer garden their during the latter ends of the season and pre season friendlies or events would be amazing, but I can understand why they opted for the ground level car park.

Hope they have some sort of bars that take advantage of the river views, which I'm sure some external companies will in the neighbouring docks towards the city, as the current fan plaza takes no advantage of that meaning the match day experience could have been the same anywhere in the city.

I was lucky enough to go to a museum in Stockholm last year. It has a really good bar on the top floor, about 3/4 storeys up. Absolutely stunning views of the waterfront and city... admittedly prettier than Birkenhead!! The more views drinking holes can provide of the river the more customers they will get I think. So long as not too cold and windy.

Im guessing the current river view facility at Bramley Moore will be top level corporate.

Maybe open on none match days.

Also, I’m sure the north stand concourse will give a good view of the city and river.

Yeah, I guess so. But anyone who can provide an elevated view AND decent food and drink could be onto a good thing. Not just the club who will probably focus on their corporate section.

Nowhere near that. Only 19 home league games a year, 3 years till BMD is open. Throw in maybe 2-3 cup games per year.... The end is pretty close now.

I think we'll be lucky if Bmd is completed exactly on time, even without corona projects like this always seem to overrun there original time, couldn't see it being any longer than an extra season though

The one backed by George Osborne when the president came to the UK?

Wasn't it dodgy gangster developers who had everyone's deposits off and went into administration, very embarrassing. Then you have Elliott with a case against him leaving behind a few building sites.

Osborne advocated a development in China Town?
