New Everton Stadium

I think this stadium is probably the most important project that the city currently has planned. It is in everyone’s interest that this stadium happens.
Maybe I'm being naive but pretty much like all the countless numbers of small builders and contractors are saying that they'll be seven days a week once the lockdown is over, I can't see major investments projects being much different.

The one backed by George Osborne when the president came to the UK?

Wasn't it dodgy gangster developers who had everyone's deposits off and went into administration, very embarrassing. Then you have Elliott with a case against him leaving behind a few building sites.

Most other investors think Liverpool property market is the Wild West.

Elliot hasn’t helped with this at all.

It will be now some reputable developers are investing. Great for the city isn't it.

Fantastic, widens or adjusts the city centre.

I run past princes parade to that building by the river with Cargo restaurant every day, they've been working on the road river side up to BMD for a while now. Exciting times.

I often walk around there on my lunch. Think they are building the new IoM ferry terminal as well aren't they?

Money is money, but certain investors will stay away because of the stigma.

The bigger issue is the London agents who think because you have a scouse accent you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Not helping with an investor and council employee being investigated and the dodgy developers having people's off plan deposits off.

But as you say, hopefully this is a game changer. Feel we've been a little unlucky Liverpool with the Capital of Culture coinciding with a world recession and looks like this stadium will be too.
