Yeah it would be far from popular with a lot of people.
Not a lovely area and could be a pain to get to.

A ground should be the one thing I don't want us to do on the cheap. It could be our home for the next 100 years. It's worth getting it right, in terms of build quality and location.

Yeah I guess it would depend on what they actually build, you're right the land is just the land. The ground they build is more important. Not convinced by the location though at all.

Location, location, location.

I think they will struggle to get fan support for Stonebridge Cross even if it is a fantastic design within a well thought through mixed development including other bars, restaurants etc. and additional public transport.

It is just another out-of-town brownfield with none of the community of GP and none of the story. It's enough to make your heart go 'meh'.

Having said that, it is potentially a very practical location for a major construction project and that does matter for speed and cost of delivery.

Would be very surprised if we located to Stonebridge Cross even if the land available was cheap. Just not the type of area we should be looking to spunk 300m on a shiny new stadium on.

Either redevelop Goodison or sort somewhere in the city centre/docklands and ensure everyone knows the only club important in this city is Everton Football Club.

Make a statement Everton, one that will last for the next 100 years.
