New Everton Stadium

Who has the best ground in the country for facilities with the biggest capacity? Man Utd. Is it anywhere near city centre Manchester? No. Is it in the middle of an Industrial Estate? Yes.

If the stadium is designed properly, with good transport links, parking for 10,000 cars and lots of good facilities it will work.

They've also been there for a hundred years so it's not a valid comparison to moving from where Goodison is situated.

It's barely in Liverpool and is a stones throw from Destination Kirkby.....
Goodison is around the same distance away from SC as Destination Kirkby is, I get that its not everybody's first choice but everything about it makes sense, big plot of land, rejuvenate a run down area, good transport links (apart from a train station) in the city boundaries.

Different kettle of fish of you ask me. Old Trafford is where it is because it's next to the factories and workhouses that their forefathers used to fill Monday-Friday. They'd all live nearby too, back then. On their day off they'd go down the local field to watch their workmates kick a ball around.

That grew into Glazer-land over the next 100 years and now you have what you have.

Plonking a 50-60k stadium in an area that has nothing going for it, and whose residents probably already hate the fact that they're so close to Goodison on a match day (tempered only by the fact that they're so close to Anfield on a match day) is a recipe for disaster.
DK was a no brainier "no" vote. SC would be the same if fans get the choice.

Plus do we wanna be the club next to the M57 or do we wanna be Everton FC?

City's project is a better comparison. Etihad is in the middle of nowhere, relatively speaking, but it's a beautiful stadium and a huge complex including academy and other attractions. Concourse is really nice and a good place for a bevvy. Massive on-site parking etc.

Not heard many City fans complaining

It's only just over a mile to Piccadilly Station !!!
