New Everton Stadium

A tier 1 stadium is one with top of the line hospitality facilities. Unbelivable sight lines from all seats. For ordinary fans it has bars and concourses for food and drink. Amble conveniences and with adequate space to host world class events such as World Cup matches. Rugby events. NFL etc. It also has excellent transport links.

A tier 2 stadium is something like Anfield where they try and slot on some additional facilities with no real improvements to any other facilities just to cram in some more into an already crammed stadium. Having been in the back of the away end at an Everton game - you cannot see the Kop when everyone stands due to the massive overhang and the multiple pillars in the way. That stadium is far from tier 1.
Link to these definitions please or is this just a fictional characterisation of what you want to see in our new stadium...

Isn't that stand the next phase of redevelopment as they have knocked all the housing down behind that stand,IIRC the expansion is 2 phases up to 59000.

All this Tier 1 stuff is causing far too much friction so I suggest everyone pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and switch focus to...................

A Category A stadium instead!

Got to be category A.

Category B just not good enough.
This Tier 1 is fast becoming the new 72 points, which took over from 5th is the same as 15th.
What is going on lately?
