The vast majority of seats are less than £50.... especially as season tickets or concessions. I agree there are far too many obstructed views but that's what happens when you spend nothing for decades.

Leitch designed Old Trafford from scratch (1910). Their mainstand is his original. Leitch worked at Anfield before Goodison Park. Their mainstand was also his (1906). It was extended first in the early 70s and again only a few years ago to what they have now. The original is still there forming much of the bottom tier. It would seem it was 60yrs of not paying much attention.

It does make me squirm thinking that we might move to a 52k stadium, they up their hole punch to 62k and in a few years return to Stanley Park for a superior 80000 stadium. They'll have the park for sure.

Doesn't matter what the capacity of Anfield is, it will always be a perfect example of a polished turd. That crowd should have moved to a new site 30 years ago. Thank God, they didn't. Near the airport would have been handy.

Why would they go on the Park? They'll probably just build a bigger Kop, incorporating everything new learnt about safe-standing and get the capacity up to 70k+ once the transport infrastructure issues have been addressed.

Im staring to worry about this even gettng built, for example ive been hearing about the Russian tanks being made with steel that has come from Usmanov, were is the steel for the stadium coming from? YOu can be sure there will be a lot of eyes on this project right now, not just the money to pay for it but the actual materials too
