New Everton Stadium

In the many pages on this thread has anyone put up or heard of an estimated date on the LOR schedule when the steel is expected to start to arrive be installed?
In one of the recent club videos, they mentioned steelwork would commence in May I think I recall hearing. The concrete base of the north west corner looks to be starting to expand towards the opposite side of the stadium along the mersey bank. Perhaps that is the next stage before the ‘erection’ of any steel.

The odds of us going down are more likely than ever, the financial burden of this plus any other costs associated with the club would be a massive gamble with any new person(s) who wish to buy us. Are they prepared to take that risk with us being out of the top league; would Moshiri be willing to take a £400m loss on his investment.

I get the importance of the stadium, but I also get that the financial mess we could be in this time in 6 months, and it would almost certainly put the entire club at a risk.

So personally, I’d swap the stadium for survival 100 times out of a hundred
More. HM e of selling a club with a new ground on the go, no one would spend the money Moshiri would want if we stayed at GP.
Live in the now, and a new ground would be a massive positive for the club as a whole.

People moaned about finishing 8-10 and they would swap anything for that this season.

Went down to the WH lung supermarket/Taipan today to stock up with some chinese stuff. Said to the Mrs we'd carry on past it and have a mooch around BMD. Road to it was blocked off and traffic was horrific so we spun the car around and just did the shopping instead. Couldn't make out why the road was closed?

i know we are no Nou Camp but that is some serious dough for just naming rights and shirt sponsorship
No it’s not.
top clubs get £40m a year for shirt sponsorship and £20m a year for their training kit (maybe a wee bit more).
over 4 years thats £240m.
so…. The funding for the stadium? Doesn’t seem very meaty.
