New Everton Stadium

The 'development opportunities' in Joe's area are:
  1. Kingsway Industrial Park
  2. Ogdens Factory
  3. Georges Road
  4. Bankhall Street (near station)
  5. Derby Road/Forth Street (near station and docks)
  6. Sandhills (near station)
  7. Great Howard Street (docks)

Never seen Ogden's Factory mentioned before.

That's a pretty large site and not that far from the city centre.

This destroyed any remaining faith I had in the current regime.

Personally, I'd rather we didn't trust such an vital decision in the Clubs history to Elstone and co.

Blues.

The current regime couldn't build a big tent in the Park End car park.

There's no chance they'll deliver anything substantial.

The only chance of this happening is if LCC drive it forward, which I doubt...

I think most never expected this to happen from the off.

Bankhall street and forth street can be knocked off the list, it's already been developed on; Canada exchange is its new name. Basically a huge warehouse.

The odgens site has been earmarked for a housing development apparently

Where in the city centre? There's barely any space that isn't getting student flats plonked on there, destroying the city.

It says within the city boundary - ie within Liverpool and not in Knowsley/Sefton etc. Quite carefully worded I think.
Stonebridge Cross (JUST inside the boundary) has at least been discussed at an initial meeting which included the Mayor and high level EFC reps. Ball is back in Everton's court on that one, but it's a piece of land which the Council need filling and could be obtained on the cheap.
