New Everton Stadium

what's poor?
With everything going on at the club, this is remarkable.
If you're talking about the actual video, I'd imagine it's very difficult to get the same height and angle to overlay two videos/stills a year apart
Well done Everton, this is something to be really proud of.

tbf mate, it's a 1 year anniversary so quite a big milestone and it's a massively piss poor attempt at a video. A 48 second film to showcase how far the build has progressed is not a great way to showcase the build.

I think the club would be better off just saving themselves the money and leaving it to the pros

Invite them up to the ground for a day on hospitality by way of saying thanks

If we are getting angry about the quality of official club videos then either nothing is wrong with the important part of this, the actual stadium, or the club are doing a great job in misdirecting our anger and they can get the cowboy builders, with the shoddy materials, in without nobody noticing.

The building work appears champions league standard, the club videos are looking for promotion from Division 2……

Filmed by a red so 95% of what he says is tosh but it's another couple of days work on top of the Sunday videos and it definitely seems like the west stand internal rooms have moved on again. Plus interesting to see some views as he obviously doesn't give a flying about going over the site.

I enjoyed that tbh nice to hear another teams views.

Well, its also easier to get favorable terms to finance a 500 million stadium when the stadium is built, rather than in the planning stages. Lenders like to lend on real tangible assets. Less risky. Better terms.

If the construction has gotten to its current stage, anyone really worried at this point is just bed-wetting. You dont dump 100-150 million into something to decide later if you might be able to come up with the remaining money. At that point, walking away having lost 150 million is way worse than completing a 500 million project and only getting 425 million back.
The physical building is not being used to secure the debt, future club ticket sale revenue is, regardless of where the matches are played.
