New Everton Stadium

This stadium on a waterfront is going to cost millions, how much are we talking , 150 million

Moshiri can't afford this alone or our tv money going to contribute or do we have a second investor coming in?

I've no idea on the cost of a new stadium but I would thought at least double that and probably a lot more.

The Emirates cost £390 million over ten years ago.

Looks an utter nightmare, imagine the East Lancs on a matchday, Jesus Christ.

It would be a terrible move. Goodison has got 3 train stations within walking distance, kirkdale is under 20 minutes, Bankhall under 30 minutes and Sandhills just over 30 minutes but you can get a bus from right outside. There are numerous buses into the city centre and town is about 2.5 miles away. It's accessible by numerous roads and its in a much better location than Stonebridge Cross which is over 5 miles from the city centre. There's not a train station within walking distance, there's no where near the level of public transport to get there. In short you'd have to be mad to move Everton there.

Arsenal recently (2012) made £150m for a deal until 2021 with Emirates.

So ideally we should be aiming for around the same deal but if on the waterfront and dock/ferry terminal, I would imagine £150 would be a starting point.

The cost for the Emirates came to £390m with the increased TV money it looks a very achievable dream.

Peel must be willing to negotiate a price for the land otherwise we would already have seen a 'Destination Kirkby-esq' proposal for the Stonebridge Cross site plastered all over the official site.

Moshiri will be doing everything in his power to get this Dockside location. He won't settle for anything less. Exciting times ahead!

A billionaire Businessman wouldnt settle for the middle of Croxteth when the Liverpool Waterfront is available.

Im an out of towner but Anderson seems like a scumbag.... he does not seem to care at all about Everton but is only looking at solutions that will increase his own political profile.... regeneration of an area no one else will Invest into and the possibility of applying for commenwelth games... will look good on his resume...

If he did have an interest in Everton he would look into the needs of Everton and adressing that when he speaks.... Hope no one falls for his trick to make the fanbase push for this shitty stadium solution "You have the Money.... it can be done in three years... etc"

He's looking to recreate the Harbour at Monte Carlo alongside the stadium as well so that he can ...

Host a Grand Prix
Fleece Philip Green in the Casino
Park his Yacht

Liverpool FC couldnt reject any proposals....Liverpool City Council could tho

Same same... LCC is LFC :)

Walton was only an option for us until LCC realized we might be able to finance it... LFC would have gotten Stanley Park if they could have financed it... no doubt...

You could be looking at double that, depending on the cost of the land and everything else. But the stadium can be paid off over a long period of time, also there is bound to be a huge sponsorship deal. Arsenal signed a £150m deal with Emirates to sponsor their stadium and shirts back in 2012, I know they are in the champions league and the stadium is in London, but we should still get close to this I think.

My dream is still for a stadium like the Kings Dock plan, retractable roof and retractable pitch. So it can be used more on non match days.

The Veltins arena in Germany is like that, holds almost 55,000 (seating) and cost 191 million euros back in 2001
