I still cannae believe we, Everton Footballing Club, are going to find our home for the next 5+ generations of supporters on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey. What a location, after all the pain of missing out on the golden opportunity at King's Dock 20 years ago and the missed additional revenue that could have catapulted us forward as a club. The first thing we should do on opening day is lob Kenwright into the Mersey, far enough so that he's over the line separating the Wirral from Merseyside, then give him a lifetime banning order from ever everything entering the city again.

What have the fine people of the wirral done to deserve that?

So are the facades actual bricks and cement?
Materially they are, but I don’t think they are whole bricks.

I don’t think anyone who isn’t an expert will be able to tell the difference once they are in place, though.

This picture is the best I’ve seen at helping to understand the composition:

You can even see the join on the base there that suggests the mortar between the bricks is apparently actual mortar, and not the concrete the bulk of the structure is made from.

I genuinely think they will look like normal bricks that were laid on site.
