New Everton Stadium

The City Centre isnt actually the centre of the City either but hey ho.
It is probably the centre of the city region though and is certainly the logistical focal point. All major national and regional public transport hubs etc.

A merseyrail station at Vauxhall and perhaps a dedicated mass transit system (Lime Line) feeding the whole waterfront and city centre could provide that connectivity.

The "Centre"" of London, as in, how many miles to it, is Marble Arch, apparently.

Although it was always in the city centre, the Albert Dock was a working dock for over 100+ years and was not part of the city centre. Even when it was derelict for decades it was still in the city centre but not part of it. It became part of the city centre only in the early 80's when it opened with shops, bars and apartments. At that point in time the city centre became just that little bit bigger.
And going back only 20 years ago, before Capital of culture, you wouldnt really have dreamed walking through that part of town to get to Albert Dock on your own at night, and you certainly wouldnt have walked through towards Baltic Market. There was nothing there but poorly lit backstreets and derelict buildings. Now its all joined up and a pleasant walk right the way down.

Hopefully the same happens going out the other way.

I lived in the city centre for a decade until 10 years ago and remember the route to The Brewery Tap at Cain's Brewery took me along an unlit street where I would then climb through a hole in the fence.

Used to walk through Scottie Road to get home many a time.
All good people.

Sick to death of this New Stadium crap.Couldnt care less if we get relegated.
Best ground in the Championship jokes are depressingly true.
Id stay at Goodison until we gotta footy team fitting for the Stadium.
Absolutely couldnt care less until we are safe in the Premier League.
We need two top class strikers fitting for Everton, a great midfield general to make things tick.
