Can’t pout concrete in freezing conditions.

They were pouring on Tuesday morning when the truss was going up. You can see the concrete pump in operation at the South End ground level on the mister drone video.

Hoping to get one last flyby next week, with lots of close ups before I go away for xmas and new year. Then back up and at it next year

Well they shouldn’t be, unless they can protect it and keep the temperature a few decrees above zero. It’s pretty standard stuff really.

Saw this cracking photo earlier. Shows how embedded Goodison is in the local community. Will be devastated when we leave her. The new ground will be magnificent no doubt, but will feel so weird not having houses crammed around it.
