Anyone heard of anything else going up around the stadium yet? I would have thought there would have been a whetherspoons application for somewhere. A new pub? A bar? Anything?

At this rate the Bramley Moore pub is going to be the only pub within a stones throw, not bad when you have 55k worth of people to cater for.

The ten streets bars are a 5 minute walk away. Some of them have plenty of space as well to cater for large crowds

i reckon the club might be hoping to get people bevyin inside the ground or if they do any outside bar things

Off the top of my head there's the wind factory place... That's huge, two big rooms. The 10 street social has a back room that's pretty big. There's a distillery but that's pretty fancy. A bit closer is Meraki that has a bit of indoor space plus a decent courtyard

Is there an internal ‘skywalk’ type facility planned at the ground as Spurs have done and they also have in Croke Park here?

I ask as a suspended and railed walkway has just appeared below the northern end roof and spans the duration of the pitch.

If accessible to the paying public, the views will be stunning.

I would guess there may be maintenance access and this could one one of those, it would be great if it was though

These places aren’t really pubs or bars though are they? Not for football fans anyway. These are quite indie places where people go to listen to music. It’s not a place like a whethers, Winslow of Spellow.

No, but I can see some of them putting on stuff on match days. There's money to be made at the end of the day.

Meraki did an event for the kopites the other year when they got to the champions League final, so there's a precedent there.
