New Everton Stadium

Honestly think it will be another 6-12 months before we get any concrete details/proposals of what's planned TBH.

not ITK just my gut feeling on this especially if we are targeting the docks as reported

Well working down through the docks starting at Seaforth, there is no suitable land area other than Trafalgar, it beats me therefore what other dock could be under consideration.

All those northern docks mentioned are still working docks with very little land attached to them. I do not believe for one minute there could be any consideration of filling a dock in!

It would have to be Trafalgar, anywhere else would be a bit 'industrial'.......

Peel have a bit of history of filling in docks to create land for developments , this wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if something like Bramley Moore and other docks were filled in !
Sorry that is a bit wrong ! Meant to say that the original plans for Liverpool Waters in 2006 involved the filling in of West Waterloo , Clarence , Trafalgar and Victoria docks !

I read earlier today that the Albert Dock is about 10m deep. I know nothing about docks, but I'd imagine the others are there or thereabouts. You'd imagine it's not a colossal task.

Why not fill a dock in? Logistically it isnt hard,

Just think what the underlying strata must be like after all those years under water, would there be good solid ground to drive foundations in and how much would that cost? What would you use to fill the dock in with, how much would it require, where would all this material come from, how long would it take to fllaten all that work and to dig foundations?

Just a few queries.

It would only be the same as Trafalgar which is a filled in dock, albeit done a good few years ago.
