New Everton Stadium

I wouldn’t worry about it

If the club went into administration someone would buy it from the administrators, including the stadium

Slate clean and ready to go again

I doubt we would go into administration, if it got to that stage Moshiri would look to get at least a chunk of what he has put in back. I would guess that effectively the club would be free and someone would need to stump up for the stadium costs. So 250-300 million to Moshiri, 130-150m or whatever it is to MSP with interest and take on the 250-300 of what is left to pay.

Now 630-750m may sound a lot for us but someone was going to pay 500 million for Leeds and they were in a similar position as us and didn't have one of the best stadiums in the world with the potential to generate a lot of income through naning rights as an asset.

It is the handover date, not the move in date as I've previously mentioned. After the handover, Everton will have to then acclimatise themselves to the new stadium.

This will include training on all the equipment, passing the safety certificates and doing test events. That's another two months, minimum.
Spurs first test event was 24th March and their first game official game was 3rd April against Palace so I don’t know where you got 2 months from?

Safety certificates & test events are part of the construction phase. Once completed it's handed over to Everton

Well, there’s the training part of all staff, like I mentioned, before you’re allowed to do the above.

The contractual handover is proposed for December 2024. This is before Everton are officially allowed in to take control, which means test events are after.

You're correct the contracted handover is Dec 24, but like I've I've said, I've heard it's going to be a lot earlier. Also Spurs completed their two test events in 6 days.

Anyone know what’s happening with that pool of water on the south stand / east stand roof?

Will that roof be getting used for something? Will it be getting drainage put it?

I can just imagine the roof caving in on my head first game whilst I’m enjoying a nice warm pint and cold pie. Put my mind at rest please blues.

Cold pie? Have you eaten the pies at goodison? Hotter than the sun!
