New Everton Stadium

Anyone know what’s happening with that pool of water on the south stand / east stand roof?

Will that roof be getting used for something? Will it be getting drainage put it?

I can just imagine the roof caving in on my head first game whilst I’m enjoying a nice warm pint and cold pie. Put my mind at rest please blues.

Probably best to knock it down and start again…….

My source is a bit closer than someone who used to work for LOR, no offence. Trust me. They were adamant on the information I've posted. Neither earlier nor later. Ready to move in Chrimbo 24.
That may well be the current plan, but there's no way that anybody can say with 100% certainty that's when we move in, not with so much work still to do on the build. The critical path of the programme will all be running through the internals so the potential for delays is still there

Think that side is where the most expensive seats are, so its probably for the lobsters etc.

Well, there’s the training part of all staff, like I mentioned, before you’re allowed to do the above.
What staff do you mean? The stewards who else? The jobs are completely transferable and that’s why there are test events. Spurs did it in just under 2 weeks. A football match staffing wise isn’t rocket science and the catering/ hospitality etc only need orientation work that can easily be done.

Maintenance staff, including those for the pitch, safety systems and many other new features which aren't transferable as they aren't part of Goodison Park.

As you mentioned, there will be a lot of appointment for hospitality, concierge and many other aspects which will be new positions and this may take time.

Everton are planning on 'getting the keys' so to speak in December, but it isn't likely to be mid-January that we are playing competitive matches there.

And that's before the constant changes Everton are asking for... they're putting pressure on timeframes.
