Donāt care that itās a bit of a deviation from the stadium topic - that was some fascinating info, and Iāve just felt compelled to note the wife by passing it on!Iāve been up the Empire State but never read that info (I was 20 at the time and probably only interested in the view and whether I could overcome my fear of heights). Iāve bored people to tears telling them that Central Park in New York was based off Birkenhead Park - now Iāve got some additional info to really push them over the edge!
We kinda need the Stadium from August to May, so I dont know what benefit a roof in the Winter would bring. How long till someone in the new ownership realises a retractable roof was a big miss and rectifies it
Would kill off all competition for the non match day revenue all year round would be the largest multi purpose venue in the country outside of a restricted Wembley winter events and summer
Biggest miss with bramley imo
Itās weekends when weāre awayWe kinda need the Stadium from August to May, so I dont know what benefit a roof in the Winter would bring.
I wasnt aware they did such things in Germany.Itās weekends when weāre away
Like in Germany boxing ,ufc, massive stadium concerts get locked out of uk market due to weather in winter think it would pay for itself in time
The last time Alan Stubbs was inside a new Everton stadium development iirc

The Liverpool waterfront in the winter might get ever so slightly cold, and windy. My dad was a docker for 30 years he'd come home frozen. And that was in the summer.
Yeah, and where do we park our zimmers? Will there be summat like a trolley park integrated into the fan zone, I wonderye they need to sort something from the CC to the ground
old people etc
how do they get their?
It's still there mateApologies as it's slightly off topic, but what happened to the 'Spare Ticket Thread'
Also I know it's a long way away, so memory will kill the chance from this post, but if anyone could get me a ticket for the saint's game, I would love them forever![]()
Anti seagull guns too, loads of the buggers lately. Just be my luck my first burger and chips at the new stadium gets cacked on by a brooding seagull
