New Everton Stadium

I know what you mean about the bricks. Particularly, the colour variation between upper and lower portions.

This bit on the East stand, in particular, has bothered me since it went up:

I am hopeful, though, that a bit of randomised weathering will help equalise it and improve the overall appearance over time.

And in fairness, it did look great in those close-up pics from a week or so ago:

I think the colouration can be massively affected by the camera lenses.
Much like the crisscross design is indistinguishable on a lot of the videos & photos, but in person is more visible.
Suspect any colour variation in the bricks won’t be as jarring in real life.

One think about the stadium that struck me this week - is it needs to be lived in, but personalised and frankly needs more Blue.
Seen those blue bricks being used to clad the concrete on the benches at the turnstiles? Only a small amount but an indication that it’s a consideration I suspect.
I think the renders make it look ‘Everton’ without anything too permanent imho.
Lighting etc I think will make a big difference.

Not sure I can say I have noticed it any of the times I've been there, and I class my eyesight as very good!

And the colour difference is still pretty jarring with my own eyes.

Up close will be a different story.

Blue seats, I mean Liverpool have red outside their stadium and for me it looks like a fire station.

Yes mate on the close up shots released.last week they look great, vibrant colour almost like Victorian chimney stacks. On the videos they seem to differ massively in colour and do my head in 😆

Another thing which could affect the shading is they weren't fitted uniformly.
They were fitted over a large timescale and in different areas at different times and obviously some will be more weathered than others due to this

Just reading up on Loge seating as I’m keen to see that when its fitted, and i saw Spurs now have Loge seating. I seem to recall BMD was being touted as the first stadium in the UK to have this type of offering, so its interesting that presumably Spurs have converted some of their stands or other corp to offer it too.
If i had the money, think i would take one of those over a box all day long personally.
