How long did The Echo Arena take, that wasnt far off 2 years, I know its smaller, but still.

Think it was a bit longer than 2 years mate, but not massively so, was living in the Kings docks apartments whilst that was getting built as well, every time i saw the thing was cursing Kenwright out

What do they honestly expect the reaction from the Fans to be?

Its where you would build a big shopping centre or distribution hub. Think a hub is already there.

Think Readings ground. Nearer a motorway than the city centre.

Because the government canned it. Everton and the council were quite happy building a ground outside of the city.

Nah.. stadium that big would have piles anyway.. Bedrock is probably less than 50m.. not drilled that end but piles shouldn't be an issue..

True. I still think 2 years would be unrealistic though. I'd love the stadium to go there but I just can't see it

I badly don't want it to be Stonebridge Cross but I do worry about the transport/logistics of the docks.

Think SC would definitely be the fastest route to a new ground being completed. Docks would be more expensive, more prestigious, and longer project.
Question is which is most important to Moshiri - making a quick and decisive move which would generate income and move us forward with some controversy, or playing the long game to really write himself into EFC folklore and leave an amazing legacy.
